The Goss Park Swim Team is open to all members ages 5-19 who are able to swim a minimum of 25 yards independently for age 8 and under and 50 yards for 9 and up, follow directions, and participate in a team environment! The swim team registration fee for 2024 will be $45 for returning members and $55 for new members and include a t-shirt and team cap if needed, 5 practices a week, and at least 5 meets. We plan to have team suits this year that we will subsidize the costs of to limit expense using our previous Swim-A-Thon funds. Practices have been traditionally at 1pm on weekdays. This is subject to change based on participation numbers, but we will try to keep it around relatively the same time.

Please note, aside from the meets listed below, most are weekdays and can be mornings, afternoons, or evenings and run 2-3 hours typically. We try to include a mixture of days and times as possible to allow for varied swimmer and parent schedules.

The big meets for the season that we hope everyone can attend will be:
Milford Rotary Meet: July 20th & 21st
GSSA State Championship: August 3rd and 4th (must participate in 2 other meets to qualify)
Both of these will be held at nearby Keyes Pool in Milford!

In addition, we'll be hosting our 4th Annual Swim Team Swim-a-Thon Fundraiser the week of August 5th and celebrating the season with a big end of year party!

Parents will be expected to help out at meets, particularly the 2 big ones mentioned, so please be prepared to commit to at least 1 shift of timing or other meet jobs.
